Lieve is a single thread yarn, a mixed wool with a very high percentage of Kid Mohair, a precious fiber that has made a strong comeback during the last seasons, whose fibers are tied with a polyamide thread. It’s characterized by being a gauzed thread, therefore it’s fuzzy, light and very soft: it’s the gauzing process that “rips” the thread with the help of micro hooks that extract part of the fiber creating a fuzzy effect. It’s a thread suitable for creating soft, informal sweaters with simple patterns or characterized by relief points. It’s like wearing a hug. And like anything precious it must be cared for in the right way; Lieve can in fact be considered delicate, and for what concerns treatment it’s best to wash it by hand.
