These are the classes you won't want to miss

Instructor: Paula Coelho, with over 40 years of experience in the field, founder of Arco Íris a Metro

Level: For beginners or those looking to improve patchwork/sewing techniques

Schedule: Every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (3 hours)

Capacity: 6 participants, with close and personalized guidance.

The class fee does not include materials, so you should always bring:

- Fabric scissors
- Scissors for cutting threads
- Pins
- Rotary cutter (we provide the mat and ruler during the class)
- Bobbins for your machine (if using one of ours, you should bring universal, tall bobbins)
- Threads in the colors of the projects
- Hand sewing needles
- 1/4 inch presser foot (patchwork)
- Measuring tape
- Heat-erasable pen
- Sewing machine – if you need a machine, just email to reserve one, we lend them at no extra cost

Materials for the projects (in addition to those listed above):

- If doing intro to sewing
30 cm of 2 fabrics
30 cm of batting
50 cm of matching zipper

- If doing beginner patchwork
50 cm of 2 100% COTTON fabrics that coordenate
1 meter of a third fabric that coordenates with the other two fabrics
60 cm of batting

- For any other project, you should speak to the instructor on the day of the class for more details about materials
